「西河」Russell Westbrook在20日面對老鷹時狂砍46分，但獨木難撐大局，雷霆最後仍以108比110不敵老鷹。
讓Westbrook飆分白忙一場的是老鷹前鋒Paul Millsap，終場前12秒命中致勝跳投，全場拿下30分11籃板，絕對是老鷹勝利最大功臣。
終場前雷霆仍有翻盤機會，但Westbrook先是跳投失手，搶到進攻籃板後再度嘗試卻遭到火鍋封阻，雷霆再搶下進攻籃板，暫停過後「西河」在三分線外孤注一擲沒想到投了個籃外空心，中鋒Steven Adams撿到籃板後雖灌籃得手但時間已經終了，得分不算。
除了狂飆46分外Westbrook還抓下11籃板，送出7次助攻，但關鍵時刻無法命中只能黯然吞敗。另外此役是他本季第三度得分突破40大關，這3場比賽雷霆戰績為1勝2敗。
老鷹除了Millsap外，Dennis Schroder拿下31分8助攻，Thabo Sefolosha也有15分進帳，老鷹此役團隊命中率高達54.7％，流暢的團隊攻勢是贏球主因。
