面對少了「甜瓜」安森尼（肩傷）、「飆風玫瑰」羅斯（背傷）兩大主力的尼克隊，勇士隊16日在主場贏來輕鬆寫意，全場更傳出41次助攻。終場以103比90力退尼克，拿下本季第23勝（4敗），繼續在聯盟取得領先地位。
這是勇士隊本季第3次單場助攻超過40次，上次做到的球隊是1996-97年球季的公牛。勇士先前在11月23日出戰湖人時，創下單場47次助攻的隊史紀錄，每場比賽傳出30次助攻以上如同家常便飯，充分展現出優異的團隊默契。
「那就是我們球賽好看的地方，我們也從來不會去擔心那些數字，」攻下全場最高25分的「浪花弟」克雷湯普生表示，「當我們快速移動著球，總會製造不少空檔，讓我們可以把球輕鬆投進。」
柯瑞（投14中3）與杜蘭特（投18中7）手感雖然都不太理想，兩人卻都差一點拿下大三元。柯瑞8分、8助攻與10籃板，杜蘭特15分、14籃板與8助攻；卓雷蒙格林也有5分、11籃板與7助攻進帳，李文斯頓10分。
勇士先發中鋒麥基則成了場上的最大驚奇，只打16分鐘的他全場投10中8，拿下17分，大部分得分都是靠隊友妙傳扣籃。不過勇士16日也折損了替補大將，威斯特因為臀部撞傷，僅上場10分鐘就退場治療。
